Lymphatic Drainage - is essentially a form of massage done by a specialist practitioner. L.D. uses very light pressure combined with soft pumping movements towards the lymph nodes in the body. It relaxes the sympathetic nervous system, reduces pain, activates the immune system and releases the retention of excess fluid.
