Glastonbury can be hard to get to but it's worth it when you arrive. It doesn't matter what method of transport you use, the final leg of the journey will be by bus, taxi, car or foot. On this page we have tried to list the various options with links to timetables and booking faciities. Due to the time needed to get to Glastonbury we don't recommend attempting a day trip from London - you'd need to be based in either Bristol or Bath to make a day-trip feasible and enjoyable.

Essential from Castle Cary Railway station but otherwise it's much cheaper to use the local buses. But as the buses stop running early taxis are a useful method of transport for short local journeys.
